So this is what I've got/am getting:
- 400w HPS Cooltube, already have
- 1000w HPS Cooltube, going to get
- .5x.9x1.6m Tent (veg), already have
- 1.2x1.2x2m Tent (flower), going to get
- 120cfm Inline Fan, already have
- 450cfm Centrifugal Fan, already have
- Carbon Filter, already have
- Growing in soil
So here's the plan:
Basically, I want to do 5 harvest per year, or every 73 days.
Plant seeds and veg 9 plants for 32 days in the smaller tent under the 400w, with the 120cfm fan pulling through the Cooltube and exhausting, with a passive intake.
Then into their final 14L pots and into the 1000w tent for 10 days (give or take depending of length of flower) of veg under the 1000w, then 63 day flower (give or take). Am thinking passive intake here also, with the carbon filter and 450cfm fan. Hopefully temps will be manageable.
Im hoping to be able to get 125oz per year, or about 25oz per harvest.
My first run with the new set up will be with 7 strains. It will be harder to tame, yes, burning hoping to find which strain I can get the most out of, that combines a short flowering time, with a decent smoke and yield. I'll be taking clones off all so I can keep the best for a mother.
So, as long as I find a strain that finishes around 63 days or less, I'll be able to get 5 harvests, but with the allotted veg time, should I get close to, or even surpass the numbers im after?
Am I on the right track? What would you do differently?
