The risk of having male plants around?

How risky is it to have male plants around, I plan on letting them go until the pollen sacks open, which should be the next couple of days, I have them on the opposite side of the house, but I'm not entirely sure if it's a major risk to even have them around, any insight?

We generate wind storms indoors now? Since when? lolVery minimal risk you are taking. As long as you don't spread the pollen manually from the males to the females they will not get pollinated.

I'm growing outdoor, and only one of my plants is flowering, but it's my largest plant, and it wouldn't be worth it, but I want to pollinate a couple branches this year and get some sweet seeds, these are some impressive males, and they'd make for good breeding stock. would it be safer to put them inside or something maybe until they bust?
