Thanks for the warning/compliment. For the record, I think the NDP are on easy street saddling that fence while the other factions can play out whatever extremes. They'll catch all the middle ground just by avoiding it (and then split the vote). But the fact is that right now the Libs are kind of avoiding it too and they've nothing more concrete on the table or at all different than do the NDP.
I also think that what applies to the Libs should apply equally to the NDP where this is concerned. They should BOTH be under constant pressure, every fucking day from now until the election at the very least, to get what we need. But right now, it's not even being discussed, because apparently everyone is certain that it already has, so there's no need for it to be. That's fucked up double think, and it leads to activists once again partying the defeat away like it's a victory. How well that has worked for us so far.
I think it would be incredible if con party supporters who are in support of legalization would push their "representatives" too! Too incredible to even entertain, but incredible never the less.
Harper could still allow a minimal "5" plant domestic grow limit for whatever reason, like necessarily legitimizing the mmpr, and leave trudeau sucking it just prior to the election. Having no platform of their own publicly familiar already to push back with, he'll be left sucking it for certain in the event that does happen.
