so my buddy is with his friend the other night. his friend has a business across town. he rents some warehouse space in a small complex. maybe 50 units. so they are over there getting what dude needs to get. it's late in the evening. 10 or 11ish. my buddy hears a noise. sounds like humming. he asked dude who rents the space if he hears it. dude says "no". my buddy has a keen ear for this stuff, if you know what i mean. so he starts to investigate. puts his ear to the walls and finds out it's coming from next door. so he explains to his friend that those sound like some kind of exhaust fan. tells him, "it's late, no one is over there. why would fans be running?" so dude gets curious. they go outside and try the front office door of the place next door. it's locked. so my buddy goes over to the roll-up door and pulls up. sum-nov-a-bitch if it doesn't start to open. so he pulls it up about 6 inches or so. kneels down and peeks in. he says there are at least 1000 plants in there. he just rolled the door closed and they left.
