Chop and quote, eh?I'll remember McCain throwing quote marks around the words "health of the woman", and then sneering, as if the health of women isn't worth his time. I was talking to my significant other during the debate, toking a bowl, and she said, "Waitaminute, did he really just say what I think he did?" We scrolled back and replayed it, and sure enough, there was McCain mocking the health of women.
Seeing as women are the largest voting population (and largest overall population), of the two sexes, he really REALLY hurt himself there. If the election had been close before that point, he would have lost it right there. He's lost it anyway, but that mockery would have sealed the deal for an Obama win even if it were a closer race.
Chop and quote, eh?
What he said was the Health of the woman has been expanded to cover increasingly ridiculous levels of abortion including late-term and partial-birth.
Hardly as discriminatory as you would make it out to be, Bongulator.
gonna have to agree with you on this one
I'm not a member of either of the "big 2" parties so I won't be casting my vote for McCain OR Obama....but I WILL say this... I will NEVER cast a vote for a candidate that is not pro-choice.
IMO Obama hit the nail on the head when he said there are some things The Feds & States have NO BUSINESS legislating..... and a woman's right to choose is one of those!
I'll thank the Feds, the States, religious zealots and everyone else to stay the hell out of my uterus.
I'll remember "Joe the Plumber" and the arrogant smirk on O'bama's face ... and watch it change into a shit-eating grin when he loses the election in three weeks.
