Hows it going Legends!

So what do you all think about stripping strippable leaves before flush, ,,"they are solar panels" I think not anymore on this point. " They are a food source"" Now I tend to agree with this, if I flush I am rinsing the medium of nutrients so the plant will not slow down with up Take from the soil and "cannibalize" themselves in using remaining nutrients resulting in a better flower with no excessive nitrates ect.

Be nice!
I understand some don't flush at all..but do you stop the feed and water as normal? After a leaf strip! Or do you just leave them on
I am learning every day.

Thanks in advance Legends!!

Flushing is putting 2-3x the pots volume of water thru it. It’s only really needed if there’s a severe toxicity.

Giving water at the end isn’t flushing.

Pics tell a thousand words. Post some if you have any.

Leaf stripping is something you do mostly at the start/middle of flower and occasionally at the end if the leaves are dying off too much

Thanks for your speedy reply.

That's my idea of just feeding water, it's the stripping of leaves to allow airflow and light to lower bud-sites. It's a bit contradictory I understand since I'm possibly trimming of nutrients or the plants legs so to say after this marathon!

You want her to starve and eat herselfe but how can she eat if you remove the factory.
Now problem is the factory is the warehouse soo until the factory breaks you have food...

But i did hydro flush pure water and the plant lived for a month with light yellowing.in dirt there is no way you will flush all of it.

Yes they will cannabalise and use up the energy in the leaves some stuff does it more than others as for flushing i think what your seeing is it helps to speed up the fade rather than flush everything out when u flood it with water you drop the soil temp anything below 15 c locks some nutes out i think thats why some see the benefit from it just remember that bacteria and micros eat this stuff up up too in the drying/curing phase as well remember to dry in a dark cool place when its time
