this plant doesnt wanna grow taller but is short n thick

is something wrong?im counting up to 8 branches not counting shade leaves it bout 4" tall n bout 2 n a half weeks old

idk it was a seed from a bunch of seeds i kept over the years.itdoes smell pretty skunky right now.when would be a good time to switch it to 12 n 12.coz i have it under continuous cfl lights right now but its soo small it threw me off on when i could put it under the hps for da 12 n 12...should i just count da branches til i get to 16 to 20??

How ever much height clearance you got... throw it in a 5 gal bucket and veg it to be a monster... or throw it on 12/12 in two weeks if your intentions are to keep it small.

here it is now but not in a 5 gal yet switched from a 2 gallon pot to a 3 and a half gallon.the pics from b4 were 2 goin on 3 weeks old this is it at 4 goin on 5 week from 4 inches 8 side branches to 7-1/2" 12 goin on 14 branches
