In this thread i would like to see some complete builds at reasonable prices. I think it can get pretty overwhelming trying to get a list of equipment and materials together, So i'm gonna give it ago for the lazy's.

This build Is a great starting build for someone looking to get a hydroponics grow going, It has everything your gonna need(almost), I make use of a cap auto drain controller to keep the flood table low to the ground for more plant height, the tent its designed for is 59x59x78, fitted with a 1000w mh/hps light, active air system with carbon filter, and a 4x4 floor table.

The price- 1000$

The equipment

3/4" hose-10ish$ (^)

Fittings-7$ for both if there isnt a hydroponics store near you
http://www.htgsupply.com/Product-Botanicare-Bulkhead-Kit.asp

Ok this is just about everything your gonna need without having a Tent and the total 966$ With most of it Mailed on top of it

Now if you have all of that equipment, you will still be able to run a really
good hydro ebb n flow and smell proof a small room But a tent is also important so, i would hope your a bit of a handy person.

The space

I have always built my own tents and its fairly easy, Use 2x4s for the frame, then wrap it with panda film, seal edges with white duck tape, and cut a hole in the top to exhaust the hot air, and a hole in the bottem for intake, then use 2 or 3 tarp zippers for entrances. Works wonderful, or heres one you can buy for a good price

Tent 150 59"x59"x78"
http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=217110866&sellerid=23256318

Now thats a complete hydro setup for 1120$, but if you wanna build a better more sturdy tent the materials are pretty cheap and will still be cheaper than the tent to buy

Panda film 10'x100' -100$ a whole roll isnt needed but i use panda film for everything

http://21century.ipower.com/store/product1198.html#1198

Tarp zippers 8$ a piece at home dept

screws 15$ box of 1 1/2" and box of 3"

2x4's- 3.50$ a piece for 96" i get about 12-15 to make it really solid

1 sheet of plywood 1/2- (cant remember plywood costs) Probably 7$

Corner brackets arnt needed but for 2 bucks a piece i use about 8 of em to help to keep it sturdy 16$

The accessories

Ph/temp/ec meter -180$

http://www.home-hydroponics.co/ND1100042-Nutra-Dip-continuous-Tri-meter-pH-PPM-Temperature-ND1100042.htm

Dehumidifier-50$

http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Eva-Dry-EDV-1100-Thermo-Electric-Peltier-Dehumidifier/6115623/product.html?cid=123620

Air conditioner/dehumidifier -240$

http://www.amazon.com/Simplicity-SPAC7088-Portable-Conditioner-Dehumidifier/dp/B005DEZHJW

http://www.amazon.com/Learning-Resources-Products-measurements-equivalencies/dp/B004E2P9ZQ

Hangers-14$

http://www.amazon.com/HIDHUT-Light-Hanging-Rope-Ratchet/dp/B004QICI3E/ref=pd_sbs_k1

I love my setup but its not cheap by any means.......

Budbox xxl - £250
2 x air cooled supernova 600 (sunmaster bulb with maxibright digiballast) - £400
2 x RVK 150 L1 ( I run passive intakes and keep my tent at a fairly heafty negative pressure, one fan for outake and one for cooling the lights) - about £200
2 x 3 meter sonoduct - £80
2 x 1 meter ducting - £20
Carbon filter to match RVK 150 L1 - £80 ( I went oversized on the filter I consider security very important)
SMSCOM twin fan speed controller (temperature controlled) - £120
Relay/contactor 4 way 3000 watts - £40
EZ-Roll hangers - £20
Bluelab EC truncheon - £70
Essentials PH meter - £45
Measuring bits and bats scalpels and pipettes and so on - £20
20 x 10 liter buckets - £2 (my local green grocer - if only he knew lol)
20 x pot trays - £20 (WTF is with that the trays are more than the buckets)
2 x Garland work trays 1.2 sq meters - £60

Then comes my mostly unnecessary nutrient collection :P and Gold label special mix 50/50 with biobizz allmix with then 20 percent perlite added.

Stuff for the vegging cab :

250 watt blue CFL - £50
X-stream propagator (36 site) - £80 quid
Root riots (bag of 100) - £17.99
rockwool cubes (tray of 72) - £7
40 x 1 liter air pots £80

I know its not the cheapest but I wanted to build the best I could afford and this is what I ended up with :)

Total price £1641.99 not including the probably close to £400 (probably more) I have spent on nutrients. But thats just because I am looking for the best I can find and without a decent suite to work in I wouldnt be able to do anything the way I wanted.

PS I think thats most of it.....

RVK150L1 £92
sms speed controller £39
RVK125A1 £69
carbon filter PRIMA KLIMA £31
wilma4pot £70
reflective sheeting £36
osc fans £30
ducting £100
fan brackets £15
airpump £19
jubilee clips £15
aluminium foil tape £5
bluelab EC truncheon £74
pH essentials meter £40
extra attic ventilation £65
Then all my nutes and solutions etc approximately £300
so around £1402.

Last round with some bud rot pulled just over 12oz of dry smoke from 4 plants.

I have not even run a full cycle in it yet just stuff that was half way through flowering on CFL's was finished in there as the critical mass were vegged. It currently only contains 6 Critical mass and I have pulled down a load of bag seed plants I stated a few months ago. I wasnt really intending to start growing again but when I saw them struggling in the uk sun on my conservatory I bought them a CFL then another then another then a tent so and so so forth.

The first true run where I have used the tent for the entire flowering period is the Critical mass. (what is now my veg cab started life as my original grow or should I say most recent anyway).

My journal is here : https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/465639-my-never-ending-quest-best.html it has the list of my nutrients on it.

They Critical mass look amazing and I'm really happy with the growth rates. I have just cracked 5 barneys pineapple chunk, 5 barneys violator kush, 5 NL and 5 nirvana ak48. I have yet to crack World of seeds diamond line high tension, barneys laughing buddha and dutch passion strawberry cough.

I am hoping to find some really special pheno's in the seeds to keep as mothers, the rest will get flowered off in the tent.
