Three leaf nodes

I thought this was kinda neat. This plant came from a seed from the last one I grew. Seed came from nanners (heat stress mid flower). She didn' have it anywhere, but this one got one and it's only the on one branch

It's hard to get a good angle, but there's three branching off from the same spot.

Its not desirable and indicative of stress. Its technical term would be 'Whorled Phyllotaxy'. Bud from these structures smokes like crap.

I'll save anyone the hassle and say outright it is not a triploid or does this describe ploidy, an old broscience answer that always seems to get given :-)

Thanks for the input. I've been searching since then, and I've seen it could be indicative of a potential hermie (if female), and likely to be male. I have read that seeds from a plant such as this ones mom are feminized. If that's the case, this one should be female. So chances are this one is more likely to go that way, or -as you said smoke like crap? Also... will it only affect that one brance or all of them? (It's topped and LST).

Its from stress and you shouldnt assume stuff is from hermies, more broscience. Its simply rearranged its phyllotaxy from alternate to whorled, this indicates its loss of apical dominance i.e. growing out more than up.

Buds smoke like crap as they dont mature right and far too much stem stalk and leaf.

This is a bad thing but will go away when the stress does, overwatering compounds this problem most.

I think this covers everything, i detailed it happen to my plants seven years ago and kept studying it since, dont like showing old threads as they mislead but heres an oldie...

Thanks for making ignorance feel like stupidity. I'll work on that. Maybe I'm too retarded to explain what I'm saying correctly. Anyway... Considering that this plant hasn't been stressed, and that this "mutation" is currently isolated to one spot, I'll just watch it and see what happens. Third grow, so experience teaches best.
