3.i know they're stretched, however im considering hps..but im looking into an option called metal halide...which do you use and why?

thanks in advanced gentlemen at Roll it up..

Sincerely a learning grower...

Get a light and do it now. If just one then high pressure sodium (HPS). The light spectrum from HPS is more usable by the plant in all stages of growth. Also read about CFL. Run cooler, cheaper to buy and operate. But if just one light - HPS. Good luck.

  1. Who know's, you've seen the plant both wet and dry; You tell me :o
  2. Yes, for the current plant; If you plan on letting her get bigger you will need a bigger pot
  3. MH for veg, HPS for flower; more reading and you will understand why => Look Here - Metal Halide vs High Pressure Soium

You have lot's of reading to do, good luck and have fun.

regards,

about cfl..i can only find household ones. and i dont like a paper trail, being a paranoid guy..i hated using nirvana shop because of cc transaction

where can i find mh and hps in stores.i have a budget of about 250.

also, for some reason you seem to have a good head on your shoulders rural, will you mentor me?

how should my set up be when i re do it? since i have alot of learning to do..you know what they say ignorance is bliss, things could always be better and there will always be someone doing it better than you, i have a closet, neighbors not too nosy
but i am thinking of placing a carbon filter. also im guessing but these kids are about 45 days old...i did a shitty job huh

The best advice has already been given....read as much as you can as we all gotta make our own mistakes to learn. About the setup, you can always buy an entire kit but that is usually a rip. Learn how to build it yourself so you can always customize your space and save that extra money for items you really need instead of paying a premium for nothing. Just my two cents.
