Man very smart question................... i have never herd of switching to 24 hrs b4 flowering.... you can use 24hrs for vegative state if you want .. i have done it and it works great. anyway just switch the damn cycle to 12 12 dont try to complicate shit......

Alot of people go 18/6. They should be okay to change the hour.(that's what your asking?) As long as you don't keep up fuckin with there sleep. Then they will stress.

You can change the start time no prob without having to switch to 12\12. Its only one time your changing it anyway.

sweet thx guys thats what i figured to but i heard that the plants should always wake up at the same time (which is 6am for me) thas why i asked if i should leave the plants in the dark for 24 hrs b4 making switching the hours

Why screw with her normal wake up time? We only grow these plants for several months and still have to think of ways to stress the plant. I'm sure she will recover but there is no reason to vary her morning by 6 hours and at the same flip of a switch take 6 hours of light away. Think your grow through before starting it next time. Trust me, a well thought out plan works much better and produces much better quality yields. Just my opinion.....dont hate :joint:

YEA REALLY lol u bastard but im switching it due to my work schedule if i where to leave it on at 6 am till 6 pm there would be no way i can check on the plants unless i disturbed there night which is bad... if i left it on from 6 pm to 6 am then my cats would be able to chew them up while im asleep which again is bad lol so the only way i can convient myself is to switch the timers to lunch time and midnight that way when i get home at 8 the lights will still be on... work schedules always change bro

i just went into flowering 2 days ago.. i was on 18/6 and then while plants where on 12th hour of day light i simply took off hours of day and added 6 of night to my timer and now on 12/12 i dont think they shocked at all switching like this.
