hi growers so i keep experiencing tip burn when i grow even if i run half strength feedings. i use coco with perlite mix in run to waste with good drainage and have been making sure i get good run off so i have a few questions

1. is ppm dependent on how much light your plant is getting

2.do you mix nutrients every time you feed in run to waste or feed water then feed ect

I'm a soil guy but from what I understand your plant can only take in soo much pond depending on how much light it takes in also .

Since you're feeding at half strength, it's probably not "burn" from over fertilizing but necrosis from the plant translocating some nutrients, a.k.a. under fertilizing.

Without seeing pics and at least the main basic info( practically everything your doing) it's very very difficult to tell you what is wrong and be exact, as there's a lot of reasons that produce the same symptoms, even half strength nutes can be too much, depends on make of feed and strain, is it your first feed? Is it getting worse? If it isn't getting worse then it's probably just plants reaction to first proper feed, probably.

haha fair enough and no not my 1st feeding or grow. tip burn is the last thing i need to improve on before i an happy with my growing capability im thinking you're not meant to put nutrients in every watering if you water every day but then i read people saying never to feed just water

When I did coco I hand fed but it wasn't everyday, unless it's really hot day, I fed each time at first then slowly went to w f w f in mid flower. There's no right or wrong way, different strokes etc. I doubt you've got a real problem as such by the sounds of it, a bit of tip burn is very common , as long as it stays that way. You can make things worse trying to fix every small issue. I'd just keep my eye on it and if it starts getting worse then deliberate on a cure.
