tips of leaves turing yellow!!!!!

Hello,

I am a first time grower, growing in my closet. I have a Critical Jack plant that is just shy of a month old and i just started noticing that some of the leaves at the bottom are starting to turn yellow (pictured). I found out that I may have been watering it too often and have increased the amount of time in between waterings. Could that be it or is there something else causing this? I am using Miracle growth potting mix with some Perlite mixed in. Could this combination be causing it?

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks in advance!

yellow tips and deep green color could mean too much food . back off on the feed for a bit . If your not feeding it then your soil may have it's own issues . Some soils have solids meant to break down as you gro , but if your root grows directly into one of these un broken up solids it could burn plant too . this is probable not the problem in your case though .
