tips turning brown and crispy help

I transplanted two weeks ago and my plants made it thru the shock and are starting to put on some nice veg. But for the past couple of days I've been noticing more and more brown tips on my leafs. I changed my Rex yesterday and I added quarter streghnth b.c. line of Nutes. It came out to about 340ppm and today is up to about 400ppm. I set my ph to about 5.5 and its up to 5.9 already. Not sure. What to do. Should I flush with fresh water for a day cause I didn't flush at all when I changed the res.? Or should I just ride it out and see if it gets better? Any help would be greatly appriciated
 
I'm using t8 floros about 1 inch away from the plants temp is from 70 to 75. Humidity is about 50%. The Nutes I'm using are b.c. boost 1 tsp a gallon. B.c. grow .5 tsp a gallon thrive alive b1 1/4 tsp a gallon magical 1/4 tsp a gallon sugar daddy 3/4 tsp a gallon. I'm using 1/4 strength of the recommended dose of everything.

Just tested ppm and its at 337.
 
how old is the plant?

brown tips on leaves and the lights being only an inch away would make me suspicious of the lights being to close to the plants.

I understand you're using flouro's and heat isnt as much of an issue as it is with a Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium, however you still need to keep your lights about 4"-8" away from the plants as they will still burn the plants tips
 
above post is incorrect...if it is just the tips of the leaves that are burnt then it means no matter how meager the nutes they are stronger then this plant likes.
 
I transplanted them 2 weeks ago. I don't think its the lights because its mostly the bitten leafs. And I'm affraid to move the up cause I don't want them to strech. I've used these lights before and kept them same distance with no problem but ill give it shot. I wanna say its mute burn but I'm using pretty low strength ppm. The low ppm makes me think its a defficiency.

i agree but 300 ppm is really fucking low. how often do you calibrate your meter? Any calcium/mag added? My base fert has cal mag it it but still had to use botanicare cal-mag plus.

Yeah I was thinkin that. Should I flush for a day then add less Nutes or should I just change immidiatly with less Nutes

My meter is not even a month old but I look into some calibration solution for it. I'm using tap water which should have cal and mag in it already plus I'm using technaflora magi-cal

My tap water is about 70 ppm

Should calibrate it and see if is working.
 
So here's the update transplanted about three weeks ago and I'm pretty much a dumb ass. So I've read many times to not use the phdrop test tube thing. I thought to myself well to Hell with it I'm gonna use it and pay extra close attention. Guess I gotta learn the hard way. I bought a digital meter and the drops were showing roughly 5.8 but when I used my Meter which was calibrated it was at 7.0.....ouch. but not all is lost my gdp are champs and started showing a lot of growth with that ph and one of my afganni Goo showed little stress at all. But I'm pretty sure I lost 3 afgannis but its all good. It just amazed me how well the gdp took the stress.these pics are day 2 with proper ph and ppms about 350.

i agree missnu plus if dont believe this ppl tell us y lowest leaves got this so called light burn lol 300 is low BUT ppm needs depends on many varables rh ,lights intencity temps water temps o2 levels etc u anwsered u own question ,300 in 400 plus out salt building/ph lockout due to long intervals between waterings increase waters n this will go away ie overfertlized
