To dry or not to dry? That's my quest(ion)

What up weed-dudes!

So I'm nearing harvest on my first (hopefully) successful grow and I got's a question. It's Iranian Autoflower (thanks Dr. GT!) and I don't have any pics, no camera or comp.

Anyway, if I'm gonna be makin a little cookin oil for m'self, is there any advantage to waiting til the bud is dried and cured, or is it better to do it fresh off the stalk? Thanks to anyone who replies.

a proper dry and cure actually increases the potency of the bud

the thc molecule needs to be free of the h2o molecule to make it pyschoactive (as far as I am aware), so I would apply the same to making bi-products to make you high. I always dry my trim before making hash for example.

i would have to agree with conepuller and dst ... it's a lot easier to work with when its properly dried ..
