I have a plant that has been under CFL's for 12 days now, I am wondering if you think its to early to clone it? I'd like to tak two clones then put them in flower in 3-4 weeks so I can sex the.

I have a pic of what it looks like and the second one is of the branch I would like to clone. Its not the best pic but its one of the lower branches. Also, should I be trimming some fan leaves since its so bushy???

TIA

If your not wanting to put them into flower for another month, what's your hurry to clone them?
Yeah, you can clone them as soon as the growth is available. Many folks on this forum don't want you removing any fan leaves.
I do, but only when, in budding, they are shading a healthy top position later on in your grow.

Well I'd like to clone and then flower them right away, I figured it would take two weeks to root and then another week or two of growth required since its so small. So I guess I could put it into flower as soon as the clones root?

And from the looks of mine, should I snip some fan leaves?

TIA

At LEAST 2 weeks to clone, in my own experience. You can snip your fans if you want to. That's gotta be your decision. Cloning isn't that hard so you could take a few and toss Mama into 12/12 without awaiting confirmation that they've (clones) have taken.
Once again, that's up to you and your confidence in your cloning abilities.
Good luck.
