Trying to get my perpetual harvest on track to harvest every 3 weeks, usually we start flowering at 18" or smaller, plants have doubled or tripled in size after moving to flower. We now have some veg plants on deck that are 34" high and hitting the light and will not be able to go to the flower room for at least another 2 weeks. I have a few questions;
First let me explain the setup;
- start with 20 clones in small rock wool cubes for 2/3 weeks, until rooted
- move to 2x4' ebb and flow table Under 1000w mh 2/3 weeks until about 18" high
-move to 4x4 ebb and flow table under 1000mh for flower ( 60 days)
The situation is now the veg plants have been vegging for longer than expected and are now 34" high and we still cannot move them for 2 more weeks
- will these large plants still double in size when moved to flower or have they reached their peak size
- what's the advantage /disadvantage of having such large plants? Again, they are in rockwool cubes in a 4x4 table
-do larger plants take longer to harvest?
-should I pack all these big plants in the tray or scrap some and put like 4-6 in the 4x4 table?
-what's the optimum height and plant count for a 4x4 ebb and flow under a single 1000w light
-should I scrap these all together and clone new plants asap to get a more manageable size plant?
