Too little too late??

I know its not prime time for planting but would it technically be possible to begin seeds in june and grow them outdoors? Im guessing it would work but not as nice of a harvest...

Where I live in the northeast, my plants don't usually start flowering until mid August, so there's still over 2 months veg time left.
I say, plant them!

The southern usa could still produce by june.
Usually...but this year is being funny...with a lot of plants...we had no winter...and then spring started as summer...now it is getting cooler, the weather has been really strange and it is confusing the plants as well...but whatever I set my garden out really early...really really early..when it was 80 degrees in February I got started...so I am already bringing in veggies and what not, while some people are just setting things out...but I notice that things I planted straight outdoors later on seem to be trying to finish...so it is later in the year then we think, I think, the plants think...I set out some of the garden in february because my outdoor gardening mentor said, "Why honey, you can't set things out this early because the worms (or whatever) tell me it's still gonna come a big frost before Mother's Day." And it did come a frost, the very next week, and most everything I planted outside got hit...some things it didn't matter...actually it didn't matter with anything...because...a lot of things survived and the things that didn't I already had replacements going inside just in case...but since I got more stuff to set out it doesn't really matter...I super got a jump on things and now I am ahead..I don't know what this will mean for the rest of the season, but seems to me that I should get more since the growing season will be longer...anyway I have lost this probably derailed train of thought...sorry
