too much gph...help

Hi, so I want to build my own hydroponics setup and i already have a flotec 1470 gph pump and wanted to use it

I have limited growing space and i am worried that this pump will have too much gph. What is the smallest amount of plants i should grow with it. any advice will be appreciated including suggestions for what tyoe of hydroponic system is used. THANKS

i'm not sure yet, but i was thinking either drip or dwc....my space is most likely going to be a 4'x2' or 3'x4'

Either works and as long as you keep your water/nute solution loaded with air there is no such thing as too many GPH unless you start eroding the plant away by the force of the water
