Too sleepy of a buzz

Alright, here's my problem - Regardless of indica or sativa plants that I grow, I always end up getting a very sleepy, stoned buzz from my buds. Sometimes this is alright but I'm trying to get plants that produce a high energy body buzz more than a couch potato feeling. Uhm, any ideas?
