Np.

trick is to give it a few days to a week to recover from the chock/stress of loosing its top ..

then when you see it grow agin (new fine side shoots) then switch to 12/12 ..

you can do it now .. but then you "loose" a few days of flowering so to speak .. as the plant will use time to recover .. and not flower ..

if your in no hurry I would for sure give it a littel time .. normaly 3-7 day I would belive ..

also .. once you flower .. if hight become a problem agin .. with the side shoots or other palnts ..

you can allways tie em down a bit .. a loose loop around the top and down to the pot or sumthing to tie it down to ..

can do it a littel at the time over a few days if scared of breaking it ..

trick here i to tie down the very top/s so they are horisondle or lower then the other shoots .. plant homons will switch (like with topping) and other shoots will try to grow up and take the main top place ..

I would recommend if you do any pruning in the vegetative state ( i.e topping ), give your girl about a week to recover from the stress. If you dont give it time to recooperate and enter it into flowering state you just added another stress component. And some strains are really finicky and can ultimately lead to a hermaphroditic plant.
