Hi all, have an lsd strain that's in 2 weeks of flower and was wondering if it's still ok to top.
Will be its 3rd top if I go ahead.
1st Sativa dominant strain I've grown and didn't realize how tall she would get.
Thanks all

I’m not %100 sure I’m pretty new to growing but I don’t think topping in the flowering stage would not create new tops, just stress the plant.
Anyone with more experience please correct me if I’m wrong

I third that. Once the buds are starting to develop, there would be no point in topping because it does not stimulate new leaf and stem growth and all the plant's energy is going towards bud production imo. Tying her/them down would be the best thing to do to stop it bursting outta that grow area.

There in a green house getting natural light right??? If so just leave them alone there going to get all the light the sun is giving off no need to tie them down or anything maybe support them up at some point when the buds get heavy and fall over and break I’ve had that happen and it’s always no fun when that happens. NEVER top in flower ur just wasting bud at that point. No new tops will form. Your plant is done with growing new nodes when it’s in flower and the stretch is over after two weeks. Just leave it alone and don’t chop to early. I’ve grown lsd before and it’s a good strain you won’t be disappointed.

Thanks a lot all. Only reason i asked is height in the greenhouse. I'll tie her down.
Much appreciated

What week of flower are you??? They only stretch for 2 weeks after that nothing. Your not going to burst out of your grow space like that other guy said. To me it looks like ur about 2-3 weeks into flower and your plant won’t stretch anymore you will be better off supporting them rather than tying her down. The only time I tied mine down was because it grew two feet above my fence and I live in the suburbs so there’s neighbors everywhere. That doesn’t seem to be your case lol

Full blown Sativa ... expect spear shaped colas .
You should be winding down in stretch phase about now. IMO do nothing but flower along.

Also count on a fairly long flower to maximize maturity.

Supercrop once they flower, pinch and bend lightly. You can also tie them down to a stake.
