A girl I know here in California just got caught trying to send a half pound of weed back east via UPS. They have her up on trafficking charges, she has never been in trouble before. Anyone know somebody thats been charged with this before,is she DOOMED??? Thanks.......

The way I would see it if I were the law is that she is pretty out there if she's sending those quantities and has problem done it a number of times, caught or not- they may throw the book at her to ensure people get a clear impression of the consequences.

wtf...she didnt use a fake name...and ooo not ups.//they work with the fbi.... u need a small name shipper....how did she try to ship it...? the trick is you go into a store...tell them your in a hurry but you want to buy a lable for a package and then you will be back...your paying cash...all they will do is ask you for a shipping adddy...make sure is a safe one where its a radom place like a hotel or somthing..... and you give them a fake name and a fake adress on the lable,..then they print it..and put it on the box....come back to a different drop off place a day or two later and bam...its off ......

however....hmmm

with your case?/ did she get caught befor it went into transit or while it was on the move.? cus if it was crosing state borders while it got siezed..yea your pretty muched fucked.... its [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]felony maybe class a or b...3 to 5 years...but the mail system has its own laws and to send shit like that in the mail ...its like 10 years and 100k find....god i hope the girl is under 18...they maybe the only thing going for her....good luck

Each state is diff but all of them have manditory minimums. They will first try to get her to roll on whoever she got it from and offer her less time if she cooperates. My friend is doing ten yrs over trafficing but he had two counts of it. So I'd say she is fucked and I prolly wouldn't deal with her at all.

It's federal. If it's just a trafficking charge (meaning no other charges) and first offense it's up to 5 years in prison and up to $250,000 fine.
