New farmer here, my friends been growing for years and tried every training method, he says scrogging works the best for him. I know every setup is different.
And different methods work best for different growers. What works best for you? Topping? Super cropping? Monster cropping? LST? And what about pruning? Do u prune the bottoms or not and why?

I like lst, never did any of the other but want to try. I usually prune off the lower bud sites because they produce very little and nothing wort the extra effort for the plant. I leave all the leaves on too (no defoliation)

Tried every method going best for large yields is s.c.r..o.g ,but with multiple topping during vegging, then get them growing along the netting.just keep tucking the tops under the net till about week 4 of flowering ,this helps control the height and gives you loads of tops, then leave em be .by this time the net should be full I have 105 tops on two plants that I have at the min,if I only had a smallish area then I would flower at around 6 " but just do loads like the first grow in see more buds

I sometimes take the bottoms of well,90% of the time!just depends how much oil I have left all my crops go to oil and hash I ain't one for bud, nice made hash will out score any bud any day!but it's oil I depend on most of all for both my and my partners health issues!it's the only thing that works!and since useing oil we have both done away with 3 different set of tablets, doctors in the uk are too fast to hand out medication

Personally i Fim, then defoliate a little bit mostly all of the bottom leaves that are not getting much light, it may or may not help, but it makes me feel better so i do it anyways,

In my small apartment, I've found scrogging to give me the most yield. And with that technique, I learned to super crop to bring it all together..So many ways,so many choices.Enjoy...:weed:

I also use a mixture of techniques. I immediatley top when they are babies. I then the down the two main colas and let small growths in the side take off. I then start to use mainline technique creating a hub, then once the shoots have grown I then super cropp. I also clean the whole stem of the plant where it y's and20150113_124613.jpg only grows in The two colas.
