This season is going to be my first grow and I was planning to keep my seedlings indoors under fluorescent light for the first 2 weeks (maybe 3 depending on how fast they grow) then transferring them outdoors after this period. However, I've read that I should put 18-24 hours of light on my plants indoors, but at the time I wish to transfer the seedlings the sun is only shining 15 1/2ish hours per day according to the sunrise/sunset calendar for my latitude. Will this change of a few hours cause any problems such as initiating the flowering process early? Should I modify the indoor lighting schedule to something a bit closer to the outdoor light or will this small of a change be negligible? Any advice or help is mucho appreciated!
