Transplanted outside recently. Could this have triggered flower?

This plant was germinated in early February, and grown with 18/6 lighting indoors. Around May 15 it was transplanted to outdoors. Now it looks to me like it's stretching, prior to budding. Could the shorter light period now have triggered flowering? I suppose if left alone, it will go back into vege. Any thoughts?

Yep, I'm in Australia East coast and I purposely start some plants inside and put my them out in early August when they should really go out in early October and i actually get two harvest a year that way so it definitely happens.
