Transplanting watered soil

Should I still "water in" root ball if I transplant moist soil into new home? Going from NC5 pot -----> 10 gal smart pot. The soil in the new smart pot will be pre-watered. Thanks buddiez

I just transplanted saturday and they were lightly watered then moved then I watered around the edge kinda, no water on the "root ball" just around it to encourage the roots to search for water.
