Traveling Grower

Hey just wondering if someone could give some advice, I was thinking about backpacking trip, and had the idea that along the way try planting some seeds in remote scenic and secluded spots that I find. What materials and best procedure should I use so the plants have the best chance of survival on there own? Also, I will be traveling across mostly south and coastal climates, if that helps

may as well forget it IMO.
