Treating Medical Problems

Is there a strain out there that is more known to treat clinical depression than others? I sit back and watch our family doctor prescribe pill after pill for my wife for her depression and its getting rediculous so we had her go back to her highschool days and try marijuana which seemed to work although temporarily. Is this a conditon that can be treated by the use of cannabis? Any help is appreciated.

I can tell you from experience that a great strain for depression is Super Lemon Haze. It makes you giggle and feel up ! for hours. Then when the high is gone your still feeling naturally happy.
Also ganja butter is great! Spread some on toast in the morning and feel happy for hours.

Basically most your Sativa's and Haze will give you a UP Happy High.

Thanks so much for the tips folks. I think truthfully a mix of both sem like a good idea. Any indica strains treat depression? i know traditional idicas give you the "couchlock" highs im just worried for indoor purposes that sativas will grow way too high. Can anyone educate a noob? lol

Thanks for the specifics. I'll have to check if my local seedbank carries that strain. They seem to have everything so im confident.

I like LA Confidential for depression as well. Grows very short with thick buds.

Anything with sativa leaning genetics should help her with depression,it also wont make her as tired dureing the day.I had some SSH that was good daytime smoke and lifted my spirits everytime I smoked her

Thats great. Any toughts on a 50/50 like the ultimate by dutch passion? just curious as this is on special at my local seedbank.

I personally think that some of the oldschool sativas are the best "uppy" high around . They can be grown indoors as well - just top them and make them bush . They take a little longer but are worth it . watch the trichs as even a sativa can turn into couchlock if you wait too long to harvest .... best of luck : )
