What's up people, this is my first ever thread, about my first ever grow. I was pointed here by my buddy who posts here, Snyder007, and I'm actually using a lot of his equipment.


20/4 on off

1x Blueberry strain

Planted 11/23/11
Sprouted 11/28/11


2x Mystery seeds, allegedly ordered off the internet but the dude forgot what they were called

Mystery One:
Planted 12/5/11

Mystery Two:
Planted 12/7/11


Here's the setup:


2.5 x 2.5 foot plastic enclosure

1x 150 watt Sun System HPS
4x 23 watt 2700k CFL
4x 26 watt 6500k CFL

Average temp: 69-81
Humidity: 35%

It's going down in my basement, and security is a top priority.

don't hurry with the filter, you won't need it until atleast the 3rd week of flowering. Just make sure to get some good air exchange in there. I'd go more light, for now you are good, but for flowering i'd go atleast 400 HPS for max yeild in your space, use the CFLs for a clone box or place them down low so u get light from all angles

Hey thanks for the insight, that's good news about the filter, that'll give me time to scrape some cash together for a bad mother fucker light for flowering.

Based off of my friend's grow using the same equipment and genetics, I'm projecting to go 12/12 around Jan 13th, and harvesting some in early - mid March but who the fuck knows.

43ish more days bitches, mark your calendar!

Hey, so I've ran into a problem, or I think at least. The fan I've been using died about a week ago(I went to Goodwill today, picked up a new one, plugged it in, and it promptly did nothing, so I went chimp on it, and now it realllly doesn't work).

But the point is the temps are hovering around 90 when the lights are on and there's no air circulation, and although it's still bright green it's drooping like a motherfucker. So here's my question I guess, how much damage is being done because of this, and will it last about a week till a can buy a new fan?

turn of the 150w hps, all i veg with is 1 42w cfl and 1 23w cfl in a space a lil smaller than yours you should be good with 2 of the 26w cfls for veg and my plant is over a foot tall growing more every couple days i have about 4000 lumens in my box with a computer fan on the top for exaust

Ladies and gentlemen, friends and lovers, here we are.

Let's call it a month ago that my first plant poked it's head out of the ground. I did a little back research , and the strain I'm using is actually the love child of my friends blue berry, and a white widow strain (which we smoked the fuck out of about 3 years ago).

Here's some pics, you can for sure see that it takes after the white widow

If there's one area that I'm afraid I'm fucking up it's the watering, at this stage of the game, how much/ how often do you recommend?

About a month an a half in or so.

Totally had the watering / nutrient situation wrong, but I was set straight last week, and no things are going pretty good! The new leaves are coming out purple.

So my one plant got so tall that it got too close to the HPS and started burning the top leaves, so I had to shut it off for a couple of days. SO today I sawed the bottom off my box(with a fucking steak knife) and put it on cinder blocks which gave me another foot to work with.

Turning the HPS off for a couple days kind of made it wilty, but I'm sure it will recover.
