tricomes?and preme buds?

well the time is near for most of us if it hasnt happened already...HARVEST TIME..for some reason (I think) mine are not going to finish completly. Here is an overview of my season: I started my seeds inside(bagseed from some ok weed I smoked this past winter) and planted them outside on memoral day. I had a total of 7 plants and ended up with 3 due to the others being male. They had an ok summer. They grew like wild fire, but now the place where i have them due to the change of seasons is not getting much sun at all(only like 4-6 hours direct sun a day). They have been budding for about 5 weeks( around there). The main colas are doin O.K they are about 10-12 inches long and finally starting to tighten up(but not that great, you cannot see through them but if u look hard u can see light in spots). The secondary buds(if thats what u call them)look ok not great. I've been giving molassas to them for about 6 weeks now, hoping to helf them along to fill out. NOW my questions....It doesnt seem to have tricomes on them...Mabe, mabe, alitte on the under side of them.....Do some buds not grow tricomes? also , if there isnt enough time for my plants to complet,, has anyone smoked premature bud and got high? I figure that If it doesnt finish I will definalty be patient and cure untillike.......uh ......until Christmas..seriously hope to make the smoke better any way that I can. How long do u all think that I have left? Like I say no clue on the strain but damn it obviously takes FOREVER for this type. Mine has slowed down as far as growth due to the cooler weather and less light. It has been raining hard here for 2 weeks and I decided to bring them in during the day to dry out. I put a couple lights real close and that seems to help the growth. I think you'll have enough time to finish. I live in Vancouver, Canada and I'm leaving mine out until early November. Last night it was mid 40's and the plant did just fine. Give molasses to see if you can get fatter colas. I'm trying and the results are mixed. I'm not sure if it's getting bigger because it's mid flowering or if it's the molasses.

Also, I hear that if you pick early the high is not very high and may give you a headache too. I'd wait until you get a serious frost and than harvest. That's my 2 cents. Good luck!

thank u for the input curious..ya.I really cannt bring them in they are like 8' tall and in the ground. We already have had frost up north already but nothin here yet I hope it does hold out for a while but i think that it is going to frost within the next couple of weeks..thanks again.......smoke on.peace

they pack on crystal in the last few weeks,just give it as much time as you can.

Ya I got 3 plants still outside, ive only picked one. Its been raining a lot but I'm still taking my chances leavin it out there anyways

thank u all for the imputs and info.......I would like to say "im glad that I not alone"but I shouldnt cause its not cool...lol..I went out today and noticed that underneath of the buds there are like little crystals(looks like that)starting to form...I think the molassas is starting to work..but still..like I say I dont think that its goint to finish..thanks again men ..and women.. for the info and input...smoke on ..peace

the lack of "finish" is probably because of your poor sun situation, although i've seen some grown in a forest clearing, they were small, but had tons of crystal and looked small but Dank. why does everyone here fret so terrible about frost, is everyone an amatuer, i've had mine out in the frost, no trouble, they can take it. worst thing would be 32 and rainy, that is trouble, not the first few crystal clear cold nights, when it warms right up in the morning. Let It Grow. mine are beautiful. and what i've picked so far is nice.

ya make sure its in direct sun and then u will see some crystal production

Mine arent in direct sun its kinda like his problem they only get like 2 hours of direct in the morning and then semi-shade the rest of the day. But there in like week 4 of flower and have crystals all over and are real sticky so I think it might be the strain.

its the bag seed. ive gotten a few random seeds out of bags of kb that ive bought in the past. but only the guy i bought from grew from seeds too. try to find a mature seed like that and youll have a possible free goodie. could be a pain in the ass for 2+ weeks.
