Trim advice

I have two plants outdoors, one sativa and one indica in my opinion. I have at 8 weeks of potential flowering left, maybe 10…. My question, is it time to start trimming or removing fan leaves and if so, what is considered the standard procedure for doing so?

Im no expert but from what i know, the big fan leaves are where a majority of the plants energy are produced. I wouldnt remove fan leaves unless they are yellowed and pretty much dead. Your plants look perfect to me, i wouldn't do anything to them. Maybe when they are closer to finishing there might be a few fan leaves that you can clean up, but right now they are 10/10 and no trimming necessary.

Theyre fine, not much growth to mess with. Youll know when you get a monster what to do or itll teach you what to do. Some get it right asap some need multiple grows to get it right. Indoor and out is different a bit but its same concept.

They more opened up the better. If its just not growing very big but bushy, might have to swaz it out in some inner areas. Swaz which means remove all leafs that have a base stem you can possibly reach to properly pluck them and not just the tip of it.

Sometimes you just have to get mold to learn how to avoid it, its an art.
