i wouldnt trim any of the fan leaves...
get a hps if you the funds, and move those lights a lil closer in the meantime..you should get some more as well..are they under 2700W cfls?

DO NOT CUT ANYTHING. I tried it three different times because someone here convinced me it was the right thing to do, and when I did it, smaller leaves just grew larger within a few days and took their place. Besides that, those big leaves are photosyntisising food for the rest of the plant, taking in Light and making energy for growth for you plant and buds.
Just get some cheap $10 warm white 42 watt CFLs at Lowes or Home Depot and put them on the sides.

umm i dont really remember the wattage. theres 4 regurlar sized cfls and then 2 larger ones. and yea its the piss plant ha ha
I once told a friend to NOT run out in the middle of traffic because he would get ran over... he did it anyway and regretted it. Hehe

no shit!! it made it! im proud of ya buddy!
but you should definitely make sure you have 2700W cls at least...but for $32
you can get a 150W HPS. and it will make a HUGE difference

I wish I knew how many weeks into FLOWERING that you are in, but I would guess 3 to 4 ounces of dried cured buds.
A suggestion, you might try deliberately STRETCHING them. Raise the LIGHTS up, 18 inches high, for just one full 12 hour day, and then put them back up close about two inches away. During that 12 hours,they will STRETCH upward one to 3 inches,, making more room in between the nodes.

sounds like a good suggestion. anyone second this idea? I'm weary to try things without hearing a few ppl say go for it because of previous mistakes.
