trimming fan leaves

i recently tied down lower branches on my plants and the larger fan leaves are blocking them from light. i was curious if it would be ok to trim them or if it would harm or slow growing. plants are about 6 weeks into veg and very healthy.

chances are itl slow growth for a lil bit cuz its stressful to cut a limb off ur baby.... but shortly itl speed right back up
