trimming lower branches

I've got about three weeks left till harvest. Can I trim all my lower branches that aren't getting any light. I just noticed that I have a little bit of powdry mildew on my leaves, so I Sprayed them with some shit I bought at the local growing store. I thought if I can take off some of the branches I can increase some of the air flow in my room.

Ripen? As in how? i'm doing that right now, I cut the tops off 1 1/2 weeks ago....I have ALOT of lower stuff, even though I trimmed it up. Because I flushed, I fed them with some bloom food and then some water....how long should they go?

no pics...just frosty lil headies...I guess I was wondering how big should I expect them to get...looks like about 10-15%...
