ok so i've had a couple 50 site ezcloners setup for awhile now and cloning was going fine untill a few weeks ago... haven't gotten a root in forever and 80% of clones would die off after a week or two in the cloner...

well today i pulled another dead one and on the stem notice something slimy looking... it was about 2-3mm long clear larva with a black head poking around on the stem... what the F are these lil bastards?

Thats what happened to me too. Im going to try cooking the soil cause heat will kill everything in there. I cooked the soil at 300 for just over an hour. The guy at the hydroponic store said i can kill everything in the soil with some 3% (or higher) hydrogen peroxide.

whatapothead, what your looking at could either be thrip larva, white fly larva, or fungus gnat larva (as far as I can guess).

why did u purchase a fungacide? did you have powdery mildew? thats what it's primarily for....

Ive solved pretty much every problem reguarding bugs so listen up...

PURCHASE LIST: Get yourself some of that sticky gel shit you put on the trunk of the plant, this will stop AND kill any bug that begins its early stages of life in your dirt. It cost about 10$ for a tube of it and it WORKS better than any insecticide. If you HAVE to buy a insecticide buy "Safer Brand" their products are made with pyrethin which is a botanical insecticide derived from a flower! Apply it during the night cycle!!! Lastly, buy a Fungacide bomb; I had to let one off in my grow tent and I never got powdery mildew again! Just make sure humidity never goes above 55% or so...

HOPE THAT HELPS! CIAO!
