True or False?

So is it true or false that the last 2 weeks of flowering is when they fatten up the most?

I've read this from multiple places, just wondering if it true or not???

It is somewhat false. Not all strains flower the same. Alot of plants actually fatten up the most in weeks 3-6...all depends on what you are growing. Of course there will be those that read it somewhere and will insist that it is a universal truth...

abNORML is right - it does depend though generally speaking -- yes - the last two weeks they tend to fatten up the most.

the last couple weeks are crucial for yield. you actually won't see much growth. it's all going on inside the bud. this is the period when the buds are filling in and becoming dense. they will look done and feel hard but they aren't finished inside yet!

any input, i have 2-3 weeks left and i trimmed the hell out of my plants figurring that all the growth is for the bud and nothing else. all my leaves have really died off, so i trimmed the shit out of 'em.

This can be stressful to plants. Because when you cut them, the plant has to try and heal that little hole left where a leaf stem used to be. If your plants don't want the leaves, then they will drop off on their own.

if they don't have leaves, they can't grow. it's like having a gas tank and not being able to fill it.

The last couple of weeks is when the THC matures I think. A buddy cut his outdoor crop a bit early. It was not bad for weight, but much weaker than expected. The last 2 weeks are totally crucial from what I know.
