Okay, guys and gals, I have a dilemma.
My most recent grow was Blue Mountain Durban feminized started from seeds purchased from Dinafem. I flipped to flower on 1/2/2021, here they are 4 weeks later:

A few days after I took the pictures above, I started getting brown pistils on 3, with 1 small plant remaining mostly white pistils. About a week later, I started getting yellow leaves on 1 of the plants, which progressed to yellow leaves on 2 then all 3 of the plants with brown pistils. The 1 small plant with white pistils continued growing normally. I had been feeding them a steady diet of FF Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom and Grow Big, about half strength every other watering.
I was using the same fertilizer dosage I used in the past that worked well, so I thought maybe they were getting too much fertilizer and backed off, giving two rounds of just plain water. The small plant was growing normally but the larger plants were yellow and getting worse. I was still thinking nute burn, but I forgot that I had switched from Ocean Forest to Happy Frog for these plants in flower, and I guess the Happy Frog really does have less nutrients than Ocean Forest. I thought after 4 weeks in flower the nutes in either HF or OF would be depleted.
I was using the FF fertilizer regimen that worked very well in the past, but that was flowering in Ocean Forest, not Happy Frog. By the time I figured out what was wrong, it was too late to save the 3 yellow plants. I upped the fertilizer and finished them but the buds never swelled up much. The one plant growing normally did swell up and seemed okay but the end result is weak and I am disappointed in the potency.
I have cloned another batch ready to go, they seem to be hungry plants, you can see here a nitrogen deficiency starting after just a week in fresh Happy Frog soil:

Since the yellowing started on the clones, I have been giving them plenty of Grow Big and they are doing well (I'll have a new picture later today).
I am now feeding 2 teaspoons per gallon of Grow Big, I plan to experiment and feed two plants the same strength, and the other two a stronger nutrient feed to see what they like best.
My question is, if I feed them more nutrients this round, and I don't run into deficiencies, will the potency be improved or am I wasting my time? This is supposed to be a good, strong strain, but I am disappointed.
I am going to finish the clones I have going, but I am wondering if I should clone again or start a new strain? I have white widow seeds ready to go.
So what is the consensus? Thanks in advance for your feedback!
