Trying to decide on which one to pick. +rep

i just started a stealth cab in a storage closet 71x41x19 partitioned off was planning on a veg/flower side but im not really sure what to use.

i was thinking i could just get cfls for the veg side and a led for the flower side or should i get led for veg and hid for flower? heat isnt necessarily a big problem there is more then enough room to install ducting but i don't want the extra noise if its not needed all the extra fans blowers plus hid make a humming noise what do you think it has to be almost undetectable

so i was looking at the pro-grow series from what iv heard blackstar is crap tell me what you think any and all input is greatly appreciated and as always +rep to best answer stay high

blackstar isnt crap, it will produce nice buds... IMO they are not really well built and simply not the best light out there, but for the price they are doing good. I ran a cabinet about the same size as yours last winter, with LED it can be tricky because you don't have much height in this cabinet. If you had more height I would say go with FERO but since you don't have much height at all and you don't want noise either, you can check out HSS led (haight solid state I believe) they have some actual draw 90W unit that can be kept very close to the plants in flowering without bleaching and they have no fans, just a little humming but your portable fans will make more noise. Otherwise I have never used them but the 50W light from blackstar with 2W chip might be just perfect for your setup/budget, you would probably want 2 of them ... but again it depends what kind of harvest you are looking for.

IMO, HID in a small cabinet is even more of a fire hazard...

Blackstar isn't crap... check my grow threads.. very happy with mine. Mine are 2012s though they may be better than the old ones

2011 blackstars 500w and 240w and the bud quality thats coming of the same mother/strain that i grew under a 400watt HPS is much more potent and seems to have higher density of trichromes.

yeah that much blackstar will blow away a 400w HPS easy I grew some big plants under blackstars multiple plants over 3oz check my grow thread for pics... unfortunately grow is temporarily shut down and just enjoying the fruits of my harvest

I am pro Black Dog. You can check out what i am doing with their biggest light. Where did you move the cab pics to? can you paste a thread link
