turning off hps every six hours

so i noticed that my room gets hottest before the light goes off. i just had my light off for about 15 mins and it cooled off my bulb almost completely. so my question is if i turned my light off after six hours for 5 to 15 mins. With another light coming on for that time. And then ran my hps for the rest of 5 hours and 45 mins would that help keep my temps down.

You can not run enough air in and out of your grow? Can you add an exhaust just for the hot around your light? ... I had heat problems, exhausting air... blowing air... and then, the light went on over my head.... I got two ac units, one for bud, one for veg... all good now...Good Luck!
