UBER STEALTHY mid sized grow - MAME cabinet

Anyone ever done this yet? Why not?

I have an old full size stand up arcade game cabinet I bought for $20 gutted of the electronics. I'm about to start building it up and wondered if this has been done already or if I actually have an original cool idea for a change?

I'll bolt a little old piece of junk laptop in the very top where it's not taking up any needed space, put a cheapo used lcd monitor in where the crt used to be, and in no time at all have a fully secure locking stealthy grow cabinet with 99% empty space to veg/clone and flower seperately. Seal it up against light leaks, slip in a diy carbon filter, and wire it up so it works in simple typical MAME fashion and of course put new locks on it.

It won't raise an eyebrow as just another hobby for me, would naturally make a little heat and fan noise on it's own, and nobody will ever think twice about what's inside or why it's all locked up. (I can just say I misplaced the key if anyone ever did want to peek inside.)

I'll divide the thing into flowering in the bottom and vegging on top, and it'll have room to store nutes and supplies and even finished product.

All the parts I have accumulated for free except the cab itself which did cost me that $20. I even have a 250w halide and 2' flouro's that were also free to start off with.

The only thing I need to actually buy is a cheapo used lcd monitor.

Cool? If enough are interested I will snap some pics along the way during building and in operation. Ideas are welcome too. What game should it be?

sounds like a good idea... in a space that small you might want to try using the SCROG method... ;-) even though you think it is the worst way, it is the most efficient use of space - no doubt.

edit: what ever came of this Oregon? didnt realize it was so old...

How did you manage to dredge this up?

Cab is sitting here still with nothing done because I decided to wait for hps's.

Finally did get some last week.

Now no monitor

No computer for it, that lappy is in heaven now.

And I'm broke.

Translated that means maybe some time in oh 2010 I might have it done. :)
