anybody got info on this of any past experience?

is it better to start them off to a decent height maybe 1ft- 1 1/2 ft indoors first?
what strains are best and what about nutes?

The UK is as good as anywhere to grow autos simply because we get arctic sunlight. Scotland is only dark a few hours each night in Summer and this is exactly what autos look for and we get good warm enough weather too that makes UK perfect for autos.

I would germinate about April time. If it wasn't for the warm gulf air stream UK would be as cold as Northern Canada.

well i'm completely new to growing but i'm going to do an auto in a small greenhouse this summer, and considering it will be about 2-3 months from seed to harvest i think it's best to start it off around may... to utilise the hottest months. anything earlier or later will get shite sunlight- i think april and may will be soaking this year. that's what i've read online anyway, for what it's worth. it's too difficult to predict weather in the uk but i can believe april and may will be shite.

k , in 2008 i managed to have some out in late feb , this was rare as a bastard

really its better to be aiming for late march early april , either way get them outdoors but have a back up of a light indoors if needed as our weather patterns are really fucked at the moment , even a 20 quid greenhouse from wilkinsons can save the day , ive presently dont this exact thing in that i have the plants just sprouted and have been out a couple of times in the greenhouse but brought back in at night due to frosts , once your assured your over 4 degrees day and night your good to go
