Understanding Runoff PPM

I have these two plants that are the same strain, and have received identical conditions. I have fed them once at 1100ppm using big bloom, grow big, microbe brew and cal mag. I used distilled water and it’s Happy Frog soil with 30% perlite.

The left plant has runoff at 550ppm
The right plant has runoff at 1100ppm

Could the water have not saturated the soil completely to cause this discrepancy? Is that normal? Should I feed the left plant more?

These are two of the plants in my first grow, any tips would be appreciated.

I think this suggests your left plant took half of the nutes you gave it and the right took very little.
Maybe feed the left half strenghth and dont feed right at all until you see it needs it.

When i say what it needs and when ill elaborate.

Young plants in pre ferted soil need no nutes. Just tap water.

When you switch flowering 2 weeks of veg nutes to facilitate the stretch. Use the amount its says

Once you see white hairs everywhere bloom.food

Also

Cal mag regularly if your water is soft. Use the amount it says on the bottle.

Ppms and ph are hydro and coco problems

No ppms or ph calculated

Whenever I use tap water alone I can never keep the leaves healthy.. I get yellowing and spotting.. what soil are you using?? Maybe I need a higher grade of soil

I use biobizz light seedling mix for the first 2 weeks and then transplant into biobizz all mix. This is ferted for up to 3 weeks, so ill not feed still right up until week 4 then switch flowering then during stretch the plant is using a lot of n so i feed with veg food. Then just feed with bloom food after.
I am.in a soft water area so my plants always get cal def so i use cal mag every other.

Every plant feeds on its own terms ... no two are alike. ..... plus “ i use distilled water “ as you stated.

Any reason you are throwing 1100 at them in early veg ? You are pretty much at Nitro tox with that deep dark color.

I have two plants that are a couple weeks older and they starting showing defficencys so I wanted to feed them preemptively. Also I was going to start following the fox farm feeding schedule. I am getting so much different information it’s tough to know that correct route.

Also in that smaller container it is not necessary to overwhelm the feed on those plants. Think simple - Gro big is highly concentrated- a little goes a long ways ( meaning LESS than feed schedule says ) - Big Bloom is the only organic of the trio but is mostly supplemental to feed. Microbe brew use as directed - Happy Frog IS ammended right from bag - think mild potting mix which will feed early plants upfront “ all by itself “ .....

Forget doing runoff - not necessary if host medium is already primed to do ph control and basic feeding. Distilled water is great for steam irons and baby bottles - unnecessary for simple grows. You can run tap water with that mix. Or at a minimum PH water to “ match “ the medium ( HF is 6.3 ) run 6.5 /6.7 in water. Throwing excessive water thru that small of a container not only unbalances the elements within by LEACHING it out. So now you are chasing your tail.

You will find that feed schedule is WAY TOO MUCH for most home grows - start light - about a 1/4 of what is stated then go from there. FF nutes will salt up fast and burn the shit out of your plants if not careful.

Alright, I’ll start using tap water, and I’ll ph it to 6.5. Thanks for the advice, everyone says you will just know when your plant needs nutes... I guess that’s where I struggle so far.
