My first babies, doing them outdoors but the pictures were taking inside cause today it's a bit chilly outside, 50 F. were germinated around christmas. Seeds from a mango strain from around here.

Introducing, Pampinea, Lavinea, Camilla, Lauretta & Dido. Crossing my fingers that they are all indeed ladies

Environmental Conditions
I'm at 9350 feet practically on the Equator.
Nice climate, the temperature ranges from 7 degrees C (55 F) at night to 26 C (78 F) at noon, and averages 15 C (64 F).

Sunlight: 12 hours/ 12 hours dark because of the equator

Just a little friendly FYI here, You might regret planting more than one plant in the same pot... Usually turns out to be a bitch!.. Roots getting tangeled and nonsense like that. Something to think about anyways.

and hard to grow them in the dead of winter...

You should've waited until spring to germ and plant, but We'll see how it goes.

this is what the climate is like here, I live almost on the Equator so I was thinking that the sunlight, heat, UV rays provided naturally might be optimal for growth. These are the conditions I have,

do you guys think i should (holds breath) kill the tiny one in the first pot and choose the strongest one from the others rather than transplant?

re plant them all, never kill a baby.. it might be the only female lol and if you kill it you will never know O_O can you live with that??? can you!?!? lol

but really re plant them asap so no problems occur with the roots.

Look at the amount of hours of sun per day their recieving.. a gradual 18/6 is perfect for veg.. if u can keep em going till spring u can veg em into trees! ITS ALL ABOUT MAINTAING A HEALTHY PHOTOPERIOD

Transplanting each one of them into their own 16 oz cup is a cheap and very effective method for starting a bunch of seeds

no longer with them but because i'm away at school, here's a picture taken today. i can tell there's some nutrient deficiency, humus or banana peels or algae based enricher? what you guys think

The one's in the smaller pot will be transplanted and all five plants will begin to get nutrients. Can you guys tell sex at this point?

Looking decent, I am living in South America also at high altitude. However I am not growing here, I would love to but where I am at it is too dangerous to do it outside and I have no way of doing it indoors. However thank God I have found a great hookup!

It does look like they could use some Nitrogen and other nutes. You will want to get closeup photos of the area where the main stalk meet and the branches start, this is where you can tell the sex. If it is a female you will see the white hairs (pistols).

Also I was curious if you had transplanted them yet? If you havent you should get some perlite and peat moss to mix in with your soil, it will help the roots be able to grow faster and hold in moisture. You will want to go to a garden center and see if they have "perlita" and "turba", for my soil I always loved the blackest dirt I could find, oh and some bone meal will help too! You will want to make a mixture of 1/3 of each. What are you using for nutes?

Are you doing anything to force flower them?

They're starting to bud. Smell like mangoes and one of them as a bit of purplish tones. Some of the bottom leaves are in terrible shape so I'm gonna go on a fertilizer and soil change adventure tomorrow and then take pics

oh and two of them, the ones in the smaller pots ended being hermies which is what i think because they have little flowers on them

Just for kicks picks of the boys, I think I'm gonna keep em just to get some seeds. And here are the girls. Advice and any clue when they will be ready? Went out and bought flowering fertilizer and sprayed them
