Uprooting with harvest

Hello all, This seemed to be somewhat of a interesting topic and strategy. I've searched the growfaq's and even did somewhat of a net search, to find if it would be beneficial to uproot the whole pot. I couldn't come up with any info about this, but it seemed to make sense if any1 thought about it. What I would do is uproot the pot or even wash the grow medium from the roots and let the roots air dry then put a trash bag over the roots and then hang upside down. By doing this your gravitating the remaining resources and thc to be pushed to the budsite, it would seem IMO. I can't find the guy that said he did this every harvest and came with premo bud. Only thing is that shit seems to be a huge hassle and a mess, plus by doing that aren't you invite a greater chance of mold (moist roots, with no chance of breathing), that's why I would try to rinse the medium out and let the roots airdry. I don't know, just wanted some thoughts of the matter hence my harvest is tomorrow afternoon. Currently she's on about 24 hours total darkness and is set to do about 36 more. Info, Info, Info!!!! Late

complete and total bullshit!!!! ive heard this all my life by the country growers around where i live and its soooo wrong!!! thc cannot and will not move through the plant after its been cut down, and its not even made in the roots its made in the stems and branches and flowers! whether you cut it from the base or pull up the roots and hang it, your product will be the same

sounds like a mess and hassle to me ive also expieremented pulling one plant out without 36 hours darkness before harvest and pulling the rest after 36 dark I dont notice a diff but who knows.

The drugs are produced at the bud sites, the rest of a plant is just a moisture and nutrient transport system.

So ya'll think that uprooting would be unnecessary? Well I have a hanging question.... I intended yo hang the plant with all the branches attached to the main stem, but I have a problem coming up with a way to hang the plant. I was gonna use metal wire hangers but I have no way to keep the plant on the hangers without the plant sliding off or a branch snapping causing the plant to fall off the hangers. I guess everytime I try to think abnout this I'm tooooo stoned. Lol, quick with a response I harvest tomorrow!!!

Tie a piece of string/rope/wire around the bottom part of the stalk. Tie that to anything strong enough to hold it, with enough room around it so the plant doesn't lay up against any walls, etc.

I had heard the same thing from old time growers. I was going to uproot all my plants to hang them, but then i read fdd's "Re-vegging my hi-jack" thread, and since these are awesome plants, I'm gonna go that route instead, and keep these babies for as long as I can!
