Urgent help needed before lights go on at 11pm! Want to switch my 12/12 cycle to day time from night?

Hi guys just started flower and lights go on at 11pm and off at 11 am but I’m wanting to switch this to 11am lights on and 11pm lights off due to the hps lighting up the room to much at night when I’m trying to defolate. Can I leave my plants 24 hours darkness so soon into flower ( day 4)? Will this cause hermies?
 
If nobody else chimes in, I would just change the cycle myself, it would be different if you were lighting them for longer. Just pretend the power went out, you had no choice lol. Not worth lighting up the night sky or not maintaining the grow right because of that.
 
You'll be fine with a full day of darkness.

Note though that the temperature is typically higher in the day time, especially heading into summer. Keep that in mind before running the lights in the day.

Great point too, guess he will have to weigh the pros and cons. I try and run my light when I’m home, peace of mind for me, typically off during hottest part of day as well. I have thick black poly on the only window too.

That's my thoughts too...It's cooler at night, and I am home at night, so if a fire or problem should break out, I am here to deal with it. Have several high quality interconnected smoke detectors too! Shit does happen!!

For sure man, those lights pack some juice for a small area, I also like to spend my time later in the eve doing maintenance. 12/12 is always nicer to deal with then 18, soon for me.
