URGENT HELP NEEDED!!!! Leaves turning yellow/purple!!!

I am new to this so bare with me. I am about 4-5 weeks into vegetation and my leaves are beggining to yellow at the tips along with a dark purple showing up in the centers of the leaves. The two very bottom sprout leaves have completely yellowed and shrivled up. Also the leaves seem to be turning up at the ends and drooping a little more than usual. I am using CFL's(3 - 55 watt, 3900 lumen) so i have plenty of light and have plenty of air circulating, but i think i may be watering too much. As of now i am watering once a day in the mornings(about 1 cup) & misting it probably 2-3 times a day lightly. Should i be letting it dry out more in between waterings? or is this some kind of nitrogen, or other nutrient deficiency? I am putting absolutely nothing other than just plain old tap water into it as of right now. should i be doing more even if i am at such an early stage?

potassium problems can result in purple stems & nitrogen as well with veins of on leaf undersides, but pics tell a thousand words, can u post one? I can tell u for sure u r watering too much. No little guy needs a cup of water every day so yes u r overwatering, unless it is a monster. u should be waiting until the top inch and a half is dry & watering every 2-3 days; of course it will be more then a cup however.

i am trying to get pics up now. I am not having problems so much with the stems becoming purple as i am with the actual leaves turning purple with yellowing at the tips. I slowed down on the watering and it seems to be helping a bit with the drooping but should i be giving it food yet only 5 weeks in? i got some here that a N-P-K ratio of 28-10-12 , would that be a good starter?

Sometimes a cooler climate will cause some purple color in the leaves. What are your temperatures looking like?

yes, if nutes r not in ur soil & even then u generally have to supplement. after 3 weeks of full veg growth, they typically need nutes. And yes that is fine but make sure to ONLY use it at 1/4 strength so start.
