using 6400k and 2700k during vegging?

Is it ok to do this?? Or is it GOOD to do it?


I am waiting to recieve another 30w 6400k CFL, so in the mean time im using:-

1x 30w 6400k
1x 30w 2700k

this is for vegging my 'diesel' seedling.

Is it recomended to use both types?

it is by me,

a lot of people use both types. i have 2 40x 2700 and 6 23w 6000 in my setup

There's someone on here that used 2700k globes for an entire grow, with desirable results.
But until somebody does a proper test in a controlled environment,
(two clones, one with the mix of lights, one with the single type), and compares results,
you will get greatly varied answers
