Hi everyone. A while back I shifted from an organic/ living soil set up to a rockwool hydro set up. I make my own nutrient solutions from soluable feed (yara terra orange etc), and I absolutely love the results I've had so far. The only issue is I am hand watering each time, so they need me to water them at least once a day.
When I am around, I do not mind doing this. I love being with my plants, and hand watering give me a chance to check them out whilst I am watering them. However, I do have to travel quite often, and I am often away from the house for a few days at a time. When I had my living soil set up, I bought a blumat tropf set up, but never ended up setting it up. On their subreddit, and a few articles spread out online, it appears that you can. Has anyone got experience of setting this up? Does it vary much between the set up of soil versus rockwool? If anyone has some links on how to set it up with rockwool, it would be appreciated as I cannot find a guide anywhere.
