using dehumidifier water for grow?

Hi, I was just wondering if there would be any negative effects from using water from my dehumidifier in a dwc? I have not tested the water but it seems to me that it should bepretty clean. any thoughts would be great. thanks.

I solely used dehumidifier water for an entire grow last summer and had absolutely no problems. I dont remember what the PH or TDS was though..sorry.

hmm thats a good question, if salts or anything have been added to the dehumidifier than i would say no, i suggest going to the store and buying the gallons of purified water for 65 cents.

I dont add anything to the water. you just plug it in turn on and it draws the moisture out of the air. to me it seems that there would be virtually no additives. Ill have to have it tested to make sure before I do anything.
